My first IUI attempt was on Thursday, Aug. 26th. Everything went very well and the procedure was very similar to a pap smear. The IUI nurse had no trouble placing the little swimmers very high up in my uterus. According to the clinic, I'm not officially 'late' until Sept. 12, but according to my own (sometimes sporatic) cycle, I should see Aunt Flo around Sept. 7/8. I don't feel even remotely different... but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!!
If it does 'stick', my due date will be May 18th!!
Must. Not. Get. Too. Excited.

The Players
Peeing on a stick - not as fun as it sounds. I found it easier to pee in a little cup and then dip. But these puppies did their job. |
The magical pills. This is what Clomid looks like. I take it on days 3-7 of my cycle and it makes me ovulate. |
The essential vitamin. When it says 'take with a meal' it means TAKE WITH A GODDAMN MEAL!! After nearly puking twice, I learned my lesson. |
